Bonsai Workshop
Hikari Bonsai invite you to our workshop. The little tree will enjoy a harmonious conversation with the hand that tends to it.
What we cover :

Zen Setting of the Bonsai Workshop .
Each participant of the workshop will have a seat. Pot, small tree, bonsai tools, acadama
soil mixed, bonsai wires and rocks will be
provided.
Bushy little trees in black container will be placed on the yard for the participant to pick up .
Choosing a tree . Each participant will be blind folded with a cotton cloth, and facilitator will lead him/her to pick up the tree. We want them to feel this as a game in life, choosing a child or a pet into their life. They must accept what they choose with out seeing detail of the tree. Love the tree unconditionally.
Participant engagement with the little tree.
Participant will have a hands on to uproot the little tree. Trimming the roots. Remove the soil. Set the filter into the bonsai pot.
Wire the tree to secure the tree. Fill in the acadama soil mixed into pot. Add rock . Design the flow. Trimming the foliage. Wire the branches or trunk as desired. Final flow of the tree.
Deep focus in creating the bonsai.
Each participant has deep focus in creating their bonsai style and flow. Immersion in the art of bonsai. Positive energy flow into the class.

At Princess Elizabeth Primary School, we conducted a workshop for 12 teachers,
celebrating Teacher's Day. All teachers
are engaged in making bonsai with fun.
